GF is FaceBook Friends with ex-BFs?

Jonathan is an idiot.

When someone keeps in contact with old boyfriends, it sends a strong signal to any new guy in her life. It says, "These guys are not just my friends. I also see them through the lens of a relationship."

Men will always be threatened by the closeness a girl has with her ex for a few reasons. The first of which is that he has an intimacy advantage. Consider that these are men with whom she has shared her innermost thoughts, with whom she's been physically intimate (presumably) and to whom she turns whenever she has troubles in her dating life. There are very few guys who would be comfortable with such a situation.

She is aware of the challenges her closeness with her ex's poses to relationships, yet she continues to invest in her connection with them instead of nurturing the same connection with a potential partner. This suggests to any date that she simply hasn't decided to move on. These men have become a template for her expectations of other men, and she’s not ready to let go of them as they still occupy the primary place in her heart. Because they are male, other men (like you) realize that they will never occupy that place and so it's simply not worth the time to invest into a relationship with girls like these.

In their future relationships, they’re basically trying to find someone who is willing to accept being second in their life and in their heart. If the roles were reversed, they probably wouldn’t be willing to date a man who was still so close to his ex and who wanted them to be second in his life and heart.

This magnitude of jealousy will surely sent her packing. They are ex-es you are not, at least not for now.
