Instagram help!? login trouble?

So basicaly, i think my account has been hacked but I've no idea!? I was logged in and everything but when i went off instagram it logged me out! When I tried logging back in it said 'to sucure your account, we have reset your password. please press forgot password and follow instructions.' so, obviously, i pressed forgot password. I followed the instructions ; requested password reset email amd sms but i got no text or email. so i went on the instagram help center but nothing there helped me because the email wasn't in ny spam folder and the service told me I can recive emails from instagram.com. i think I must have mis-typed my email when I signed up or something. SOMEONE PLEEEASE HELP MEEEEE!!!!!!!!

It could just mean that Instagram is down, it happens quite often if their servers fail and sometimes you cant log in, sometimes u just cant like pics or post things. That is the most likely answer - But dont totally disregard being hacked or something because that is also likely just hold on and try to log in soon
