How do i fix the twitch stream being stuck?

When i was watching the twitch stream "twitchplayspokemon" it gets stuck when i try to watch it. When i pause and unpause to fix it, it get stuck a couple of seconds later. How do i fix this?
I'm using safari.

First of all, use Google Chrome. Second, if you're using Chrome already, you definitely have too many extensions running. I had to disable all of my extensions except for my antivirus to get Twitch to run smoothly.

To change the status of your extensions in Chrome, click on the 3 stacked grey lines in the top right corner. Click on Settings. Within Settings, click on Extensions off to the left. Uncheck the boxes that you have running that could slow you down. KEEP YOUR ANTIVIRUS RUNNING, don't be that daring. You can recheck all the boxes when you're done streaming Twitch
