Conduit .com causing problems?

Since having avg security on my pc I have now got conduit.com search engine which I cannot uninstall, and I didn't install it I have gone into control panel then add and remove but cannot find it anywhere I have found add ons under tools and done everything it says, but I still have it on my pc. Even when I put my internet supplier in the box and press apply , Conduit is still there when I switch on.Any ideas would be much appreciated . Thank you for reading this
