I texted a person from a selling website to ask about their product. I gave out my first and last name because she asked who I was. So she knows my number and name. Is that bad? Isn't it similar to the information on Facebook?

I'd be careful. Knowing your name can lead people to find you on the net and therefore know as much about you as they want. Privacy is a very valuable and precious thing. Just be careful next time. Only give your first name, its more casual that way.
There are alot of weirdos out there. Ads |
