is it my browser or computer?
I think my PC might have mail ware or it's something with my browser settings. Whether I'm using Google or yahoo search, my browser turns into something that looks like (but still in Yahoo or Bing) Google but with no Google logo at the bottom and an add for a windows 7 updater pops up every time below the search bar saying; you need to update windows 7 because it's running to slow or something like that. This looks very suspicious. It kinda happened after installing and uninstalling some software that was included in this downloaded program I was trying to use to get desktop H.D. wallpaper. I don't remember the software it came from because i got rid of it right away. I ran a scan using Microsoft security essentials but it cant seem to see it as a problem.

Download pcdecrapifier at http://www.pcdecrapifier.com. It helps remove such addon toolbars that change the homepage. If its mozilla firefox , go to tools>addons and check if there are any unwanted addons installed.

Obviously you have some malware in your system. Best application te get rid of malware and keep it clean is Marwarebyte' . You can downlaod a FREE VERSION with full and unlimited atributes from homesite http://www.malwarebytes.org/
Leave it memory resident. It won't conflict with your anti-virus.
You should also download and run the FREE EDITION od Spybot - Search & Destroy also a very good anti-spyware you can get from http://www.safer-networking.org/dl/ Spybot updates the "host" file, blocking thousands of well identified malicious sites. You don't need to have Spybot memory resident.
It has an option to protect Internet Explorer
After you've cleaned your computer from this malware, you should scan it periodically
