Help me!??! (ANSWER URGENTLY!)?
I have had a Facebook since December without my parents knowing and know my parents just told me to go make a facebook. I have 50 friends on my current one. What do I do?

Either admit you have had the account but say you rarely use it. Delete all your wall history and pretend its a new account or make a new account and send a friend request to everyone on your other account.

if you have to keep secrets then just tell them facebook is for old people and no one you know would be caught dead using THAT, then tell them if they want to be up with the times then use ________ (insert website of your choice here) because that's where the cool kids go
that might be enough to misdirect them, but if they ever do a google search or facebook search for you they will see your account so why make it a big secret? just tell them you already have one but don't want them knowing your business so your not going to friend them. or you can always create a new account under a false name and transfer all your friends and stuff to it leaving your named account empty, but why go to all that hassle. I think they are just looking for ways for you to be more social, if they were snooping on you they would already know you had an account |

keep the current one you have as a way to actually post stuff with your friends and all, but to be safe you may want to use a cartoon as your profile picture and a fake name, and then use your new facebook to add your parents on. that way you won't have any restrictions on what to post. i know a couple people that do that.
or you could just delete everything off your wall (or hide everything from your timeline), which can be easily done using the activity log. here's some more info: http://www.zdnet.com/blog/london/how-to-...eline/1999 good luck. |
