How to remove @ on Twitter?
Lately I have posted a number of quotes to my Twitter account. I ran into a problem. When the last word of a quote, usually when it's a name, matches the beginning of the username ID of one of my followers, this thing pops up where the submit button would sit. The submit button won't appear until I click it. If I click it, then I am forced to submit the Tweet as @ that username, even though I don't want to do that. I have had to unfollow the users it concerns to get around this. That's no good. I know it's not clear, so I will give an example...

Example Quote: Example quote by let's say - Dalai Lama

Example Twitter user ID: LamafursoxRcute.

So let's say that I was sending the above quote, and had a follower with such a name. That name would jump into the area where the submit button normally sits. And when I click there, that username applies itself to my tweet. I cannot delete it to submit my tweet. I also cannot submit my tweet without clicking there as there is no submit button anymore.

Any ideas on what this is? Maybe a Chrome browser issue?
