How can I check my computer for surveillance programs?
How do I know if someone is tracking me or accessing my computer without consent? I have Windows 8, which I do not like, and now my access to changing things has been taken away. I SET UP the computer...and am locked out as "administrator". I don't know computer "coding" well, but I noticed that there are proxy ports and sometimes my IP adress changes from a Dynamic port to a Static port. When I looked this up online, it said Static ports are usually so that someone can access one computer from another location...and a lot of sites talk about web cams. It scares me. Plkease help.

This is not a very big issue to fear do these two things, it will help you to resolve the problem:
It's worth while upgrading windows 8 to windows 8.1. It will continue to support the Silverlight-based applications developed for both Windows 7 and Windows 8.Windows 8.1, you'll be able to run the official Facebook app for Windows, which provides a native experience for PCs.Better Multi-Tasking when compared to 8.

Second thing protect your system with powerful firewall and antivirus which all are by provided by Comodo antivirus.

We highly recommend using http://www.vpnpower.net to be able to unblock sites. I've been using them since 4 years.
