Does anyone else have a problem with bikinis making you look fat?
So I'm 16, and I've been looking through facebook photos and whatnot from spring break, and I'm a little bit concerned about how I look in my bikini. I've gained a bit of weight since last year, and I've tried working it off, but it just won't go away. I mean, I'm not a whale or anything, but I'm just more curvy than I used to be. I'm 5'3", 140 pounds, and I am a 34D, and have a fairly big butt. I only own like 2 bikinis, but I've tried lots on, and they all look the same. Particularly the bottoms. I just look pudgy. Like I'm hanging out of it. I mean, I look good naked, and that's how I usually swim and/or sunbathe if we're not in public (my friends are fine with it, btw. please don't start with that), but the minute I put a bikini on, it's like I just gained 10 pounds. Are there any other types of swimsuits that I could try? BTW, I am NOT open to a one-piece. thanks.

just buy a bigger sized bottom. I sort of have this problem too, it's like the horizontal line across my hips makes me look super wide, good think you've got big boobs, no ones paying attention to a little muffin top :-P

I think that's a pretty common problem.
If your legs are a problem try a suit with like a skirt like bottom. If you don't like your stomach get a tank top bathing suit. I go with a longer bottom and a tank top. |
