IE and Firefox won't open?

So I was just using my HP Pavilion desktop and my browsers closed. Now when I click them the Icon lights up like normal, but it doesn't open and then the icon fades. If I try to open Firefox, it says it can' load XPCOM.

Have you tried rebooting your computer? That's generally the first go to repair option.

Is the rest of the computer working normally?

Are you getting any messages about a virus or anything?
