How do I get Google Chrome to launch?
Google Chrome won't launch on my computer. Google says to disable firewall and see if it starts. I did that, still won't start. So I decided I was going to uninstall and then reinstall google chrome. When I go to uninstall it says to please close all google chrome windows. There are no google chrome windows open on my computer. So I opened task manager to see if I could close my "google chrome windows" from there. There are none. I even x-ed out of the internet explorer window to see if that was what it was talking about. Still won't uninstall. Help!

look in folder
C:\Users\youruserid\AppData\Local\Temp for a file called chrome_installer.log. it has additional debugging information. |

I'm thinking it is not a original Google Chrome .
Because, when uninstalling chrome automatically closes all open windows. Try installing chrome from : https://www.google.co.in/intl/en/chrome/.../beta.html It is the new BETA version of Google Chrome and works without uninstalling. Hope it works!!! |
