My laptop will not let me connect to the internet wirelessly?
I've had this laptop forever and I always connected to the internet wirelessly through wifi but now it's saying that I need an ethernet cable to get on the internet.

It works with the ethernet cable but as soon as I unplug it it no longer works.

When I try to set up a new connection the only option is for broadband (PPPoE).

Can someone please help me!

There are 2 other laptops in my house and they are both working perfectly fine wirelessly.

You may need to update your driver or buy a dongle.

From what you are saying you have to look at you laptop to first see if the wireless adapter is still being seen by windows and if it is what strength signal has it got.
If it is not being seen by windows then you most probably have a faulty adapter
