Can I post this bikini picture on Facebook?
I'm standing on a beach, knee deep in water with my hair covering half of my bathing suit top, no cleavage showing and I'm just smiling. Will it seem slutty to post this? I just went on a tropical vacation and wanted to make it my profile picture. All my setting are private, but of course you can see the photo in the profile picture box on my profile. Is this a bad idea? I'm 17.

Of course not. As long as all in your friendlist are your real friends.

I suggest since you are 17 and dont want to get in trouble, do not post it. Facebook is not really private because anybody including anyone can see you even the US NSA ppl and the police. Also if you are logged in somewhere public like a computer cafe and forgot to log off, its technically not private anymore. Your phone especially if stored facebook account on there, if that gets stolen say bye bye to privacy on Facebook.
Trust me, i have seen a lot of horror stories on the news about kids getting cyber bulled on the computer and in real life because of the pictures on Facebook. Do not do it if you want to end up like them. I use facebook and i am guy, but even i dont post too many pictures of myself in it. |

As long as you do not mind someone else copying it and using it as a profile picture somewhere else, like a porn site. Post ANY picture of yourself and it becomes public domain.
