Girls, I need your opinion. I have a crush on a girl and I'm a girl too :/?

there's this girl who i've been friends with for a year from school. we've had a lot of classes together but this semester we don't have any classes. however, i still see her every week at least twice or three times. she occasionally texts me that she misses me. but saturday while she was at work she texted me "Miss you <3" but I LITERALLY saw her the day before and the one before that too...so how can I be missed already? it just seems overly friendly. it's kind of confusing me because not even my really close friends tell me they miss me as much as she does.

and on valentines day she texted me "Happy valentines day" with a bunch of emoticons which she sent out to other friends too but when i replied back she ended up screenshotting my text message and uploading it on her instagram with a caption that read "<3 she made my day #loveofmylife" and this is before she uploaded anything about her and her boyfriend on v-day.

when we went out on st.pattys day i caught her staring at me through the corner of my eye for like 4 seconds. so when i looked toward her, we made quick eye contact. i smirked at her and she smiled and looked away. it caught my attention, at that moment. she would also often say to me "you're cute" in a friendly way. and one time she even took a picture of me just because she thought i looked really cute and then uploaded it on to her instagram.
btw she knows I'm bi-sexual. today she mentioned that she isn't with her boyfriend anymore but that they still talk. she seemed nonchalant about it when she told me. to me it seems like they're growing apart. she texted me yesterday too and after she texted me she tweeted "its weird how fast things can change."

There are a few reasons you could have a crush on another female. Are you lonely? Curious, maybe? Have you found women attractive before? If so, you could be lesbian or bisexual (if you like guys too) and it sounds like your friend might be as well. Does she act this way to you only, or does she act this way to other friends as well? You could ask her if she likes you in that way.

I think she could have a little crush on you, it makes it difficult to ask since she has a boyfriend. and the way she smiled then looked away from you seems like someone with a crush on you would do instead a friend would come chat. If you like her subtly act that way back, if she seems off by it, she may just be over friendly and think your really good looking

While it is possible she is either just a very emotionally open friend or she feels something else for you, the only way to know for sure is to talk to her. It may seem uncomfortable, but if she really likes you this much as a friend or otherwise, she will listen to what you have to say. So long as you are calm and kind as you explain your thoughts, and make sure to let her know you aren't upset with her, just slightly confused, she should understand. Good luck!
