Unplug your modem and or router and allow 30 seconds for it to reset, then plug it back in and you should be able to connect.

Has another computer or device connected to the wifi? If so, it may have taken the IP address your computer was using.
Restarting your computer will probably resolve the problem, if you don't feel up to the task of having the computer request a new IP address, which is done like this: 1) Open a command prompt (the black window where you type). If you don't know how, press and hold the Windows key and then tap the R key. The Run box will pop up. Let go of the Windows key. Type the letters cmd into the text box and press OK. 2) Type this and then press Enter on the keyboard: ipconfig/renew 3) After a few seconds, you should be presented with a place to type things in again. You don't need to type anything else in but now you can try connecting to the internet again. If it works, click the X to close the command prompt window. If that didn't work, try restarting the computer. It's often the quickest way to resolve problems of this kind. |

Open a command prompt and enter:
ipconfig /iprelease ipconfig /renew That'll release (flush) your current IP address and the /renew will obtain a new one. But, this may only provide a temporary fix. For a more permanent fix, see http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onXsKTAxYtk |
