Google Chrome Browser in Fedora 15 Love Lock?
I recently switched over to Open Source and I am new to Linux. I installed Fedora 15 Love Lock OS in my Sony VAIO VPCEH15EN. It works fine. I tried to download Google Chrome Browser for Fedora and got the *.rpm File sizing 35.5 MB. I double clicked it and it showed an option like Software Installer. I opened it and hoped it will install the browser. But, nothing happened! I installed VLC media player using "yum install vlc" command in Terminal interface. Is that any similar terminal command for installing Google Chrome in Fedora? Or tell me what's the problem with the *.rpm file? How to install it?

I recommend that you use Chromium over Chrome, it is the open source project from which chrome is created, and is nearly identical to chrome, without google branding. Also, I don't know if google chrome is currently made for linux. That being said, as long as it is in your repositories, typing "yum install chromium" will install chromium. If it is not in your repositories, the link I posted should explain how to add it. Good luck!
