Adobe Shockwave Flash not working?
So i have this one problem where my flash shockwave player doesn't work. When i am watching a video it will play fine at the begging and then will turn green or black with a puzzle guy in the middle. I have tried using different browsers (internet explorer, Google Chrome, Firefox) and have uninstalled them and reinstalled them and still doesn't work. I have tried updating the flash player from adobe's website but it still hasn't fixed the problem. Youtube works fine(not sure if it uses shockwave flash) but other sites don't work.
I have Windows 8.1 and a semi- Dell laptop.

You could always try uninstalling flash completely, and then reinstall the newest version. Worth a shot, and a good portion of youtube uses html5 and does not need flash.

Chrome has an in built flash player being developed by google called Pepper Player.

In Chrome address bar type
chrome://plugins
and press enter. This will open a browser window containing informations about ALL plugins installed in Google Chrome. Click on “Details” in the upper right corner to see all details about every installed plugin.
Under the “Flash” group there can be 2 or 3 elements, and if you can find one of these elements with the filename “pepflashplayer.dll” (on Windows) or “PepperFlashPlayer.plugin” (on Mac), click on the “enable” and restart Google Chrome to apply modifications.
