Browser history is a log of all the webpages you have visited with that browser, while search history is usually what you have searched with a search engine such as Google, Yahoo, or Bing. Browsers usually have the option to stop remembering history temporarily with incognito mode on Chrome or Private Browsing on Safari

Search history is used on google to save your most recent searches to your account so it can adjust its results to fit you. Browser history is everything that you do on the web

Browser history is recorded when you search something on the internet, no matter the website. This can be anything you visit, facebook, yahoo, etc. It can be stored on the browser you use such as google chrome. Search history is used by the search provider, such as Google or Yahoo to help them narrow your search results and also provide you with previously searched items. If you have ever been starting to type something you had originally typed and a drop-down shows you the original option this is one of the many perks of search history.
