historians answers this questions please short 10 points?
so for my history class i can't decide what to write about but i have some ideas.

which one should i pick

zionism and the creation of israel and how the usa funds them
united states involving in the middle east (arab spring)

us involvement in the middle east in the past

for a 20 year old i'm very knowledgable about these issues but i can't decide which one and i'm writing a research paper and i have to use primary sources.

newspaper, interviews, speeches, other things.

For a 20 year old you should realize that the "Arab Spring" was wishful thinking at best.
You also need to specify what you mean by "the past" for the second idea.
10 years?
20 years?
50 years?
100 years?

Each era has different rules, realities, and outcomes.
Given the plastic nature of the middle easy right now, you may not be able to write a definitive paper about the, so-called, Arab spring. However, you can end an historical look back with the Spring if you go that way.

That first answer was so cruel. omw. ... okay well if it were me i'd do it on, "us involvement in the middle east in the past". There's more to write about, because its a broader topic. You will be able to get more information and sources. Its also very debatable so you can add a lot of opinion. However, if you want to do it on the other one, there is tons of information out there. Just the other day i watched the most interesting documentary on the (very real) Arab spring. It went about how most journalists avoided it out of fear of the being harmed by US officials and therefore the majority of revolution was captured using cellphone videoing and put on social media... They are both very interesting topics. Just try to think out of the box. Smile Good Luck.
