Does the cache affect the performance of the Chrome?
Does more cache make it slower?
Or does less cache make it slower?
What is cache?

It does somewhat effect Chrome's performance, I would empty it.

once in the cache, items, such as the graphics that always appear in Yahoo for example, don't need to be downloaded everytime you visit a site. If you empty the cache, all graphics have to be downloaded again the first time they appear. The cache is to save the effort of repeatedly downloading the same item.

A huge cache can start to take too long to search though.

On balance I think a sensible sized cache is best.
