Can Marines in bootcamp access their facebook pages?
Can they access their facebook pages in bootcamp? I am trying to get a hold of one and the letter writing isn’t working. Could he access his facebook page to friend me so I could email him?
Crash, he does know me, we talked. Remember he said he would write to me? I am not a stalker.

This is from a best answer 2 years ago - so I doubt they get Facebook time now:

When you first get to bootcamp you will be given a phone call where you will read a script telling someone you arrived safely, this used to be a letter, your first and only one for a few weeks. You will still send a letter but it will all be printed ahead of time and you will just fill in your name, and address and the envelop. It will take them a few weeks to get it, mail seems to get hung up for awhile so it could be a three weeks until you start getting mail. By then you will probably start to get "free" time in the evening, don't expect much time for writing during phase 1. "Free" time is usually 1 hour. But it ain't free, you have to sh*t, shower and shave, study knowledge, shine boots, clean weapon, get f'd with and a lot of other things which you had better do first! so the most you will usually be able to do is write a few lines to 1 person. You're not going to have time to write 3 page letters to mom and dad, and Suzy rotten crotch, and aunt Mae each and every night.

You've been told by multiple people that your behavior is childish (and borderline stalker-ish). Also that he is not into you you. Yet you remain in denial.
