What is a good, safe, and free website/blog builder?
I'm just looking for something that is quick and easy to use and update on a regular basis

Try Wix.com for free websites. Drawback is that you need to attack wix.com to your url unless you pay. However, the default graphics are great and look very high-end. No programming knowledge needed!

Blog: use http://www.blogspot.com
good thing is that it can be as easy for beginners but there are more features that you can use as you become more experienced.

For blog only, I would say it's wordpress and blogger. For website + blog, you can check out http://www.instantsitez.com/, weebly, or webs.

SnackWebsites - http://www.snackwebsites.com. It's easy to use, the design is beautiful and 100% mobile-friendly. And you can update your website as often as you want.

Check out Weebly which is a very straight forward way of building websites. Here are some review notes on them - http://www.website-builder-review.info/w...eview.html

They're probably the best drag and drop website builder out there.
