I think that most of us, if not all of us, have heard a lot of stories of people who have been rejected when they applied for a new job. Or even current employees have be fired just because of something they have posted on social media sites, such as Facebook or Twitter.

I guess that is how I would write it in a more formal and correct English way?

"Or" cannot be used to start a sentence.

Most of us have heard stories of people being rejected when applying for a job because an employer was able to view their Facebook and Twitter accounts. There are also instances where one has been fired because of what was posted by employee and viewed by the employer.
