How do I export my Openemu saved files to GBA4IOS 2.0?

I have Pokemon Emerald on Openemu and I'm pretty far in the game and I would like to play it everywhere i go but i need to know how to transfer the save states, i looked through both files but there different file types.
A .oesavestatefile and its package contents are info.plist file, a file named "state", and a picture of were I left off

can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere. if you don't already have a twitter, i recommend making a throwaway account just to tweet them about the issue. maybe they could do something about this.

what can of save file does openemu use exactly?
