internet connection sharing.....?
Is it possible in win 98 host machine with two lan card can share internet connection win -xp client machine(without proxy) or if i make host machine xp with two lan can share in win 98 client machine.
if yes then tell me the process.
I will give best mark.

Yes you can share internet between a 98se, it must be 98 second edition, and a XP machine, but:

1) It would be easier if the Host was the XP machine

and

2) No you cant do it without using a proxy. Windows XP has a built in proxy server called ICS (Internet Connection Sharing).

That all said it, the internet connection will be more stable and faster if you would just purchase a cheap router and put that between the two computers and your broadband modem.
