Why are my youtube videos low quality?
Okay so when i upload a video it is in full 1080HD with the proper settings. I have uploaded videos before but this is a first. It has been over 12 hours and the video has not fixed itself.
So let me explain, when you first go to watch the video i looks like its in 144p, so when you change the settings to 1080 HD it says its loading. Once it confirms its in HD it still looks like its 144p. The video lags a bit too. Is there a way to solve this? Thank you! Ads |

I had the same issue. It took an hour or two for the other video settings to become available. Youtube has to do processing before it will display, even if it takes you a long time to upload. It's not instant to show up on the site.

Who better to answer that question, than YouTube itself?
YouTube ''adjusts the quality of your video stream from standard definition based on the speed of your internet connection & bandwidth. Â This is why you may notice that the quality of the video changes as you watch videos." http://support.google.com/youtube/answer/91449 http :// support . google . com / youtube / answer / 91449 Best thing to do would be to delete your "Cache'', ''Cookies'', and "History"; then shutdown/reboot not only your computer, but your modem/router too. :-) |
