Would this be creepy/stalker-ish?

I'm doing a project with this girl and I have some questions on it. I don't think we're friends, more like closer than usual acquaintances. We talk sometimes, she loaned me her book, but she has her own group of friends she sits with at lunch, and I tried sitting there but everyone completely ignored me. Like I said before, I have some questions on the project, and I found her facebook. I want to add her and ask questions about it but would that be stalker-ish? I only have 20 or so friends on fb that are my CLOSE friends. She's one of the popular girls. Should I add her and ask questions, then delete her when I'm done? I don't want to be a creep though because then she knows I googled her.

I think it's fine to add her as a friend on Facebook. It doesn't really matter if you add somebody on Facebook as it usually just taken as 'They want to talk to me' rather then 'They want to be a good friend and talk a lot' (It can be made that if you push it) you don't even have to delete her at the end because chances are unless you are talking to her a lot and then just stop (You deleted your account) she will notice. Her personality will play a big role on how she sees your friend request.

You can add her as a facebook friend because it doesn't matter unless you chat with her a lot.
I have many friends on fb but don't talk to everyone one so you can also talk to her when you feel it is important.

I don't think it's stalker-ish at all. I mean, it's not like you're following her around, and you don't want to be besties with her, you just have some questions about a project.
Just approach her and ask her about it.
At lunch, maybe instead of sitting with her, just come up to her and ask her some questions.
No big deal.

if its for a project just say that one of your friends asked her friend if she could get her facebook cause u had no other way of contacting her to ask questions about the project
