What extension do I need to install on Chrome to get rid of hyperlink spam?
I have Google Chrome on my computer, and only recently I have been getting a lot of popups that I can't seem to get rid of. I have used AdBlock and AdBlock Plus, but neither seem to be doing the job.
For example, key words on a web page will be hyperlinked and highlighted in blue, and whenever my cursor passes over them, a picture ad will pop up. Occasionally I will click on a link and a new tab will open for some ad site. What do I need to do to fix this problem?

i think its an app so you have to go to control panel and if you see unusual things uninstall them

just be careful not to delete important things

Ad block doesn't always block pop ups you should try using a antivirus program of download a trial
Norton by symatec productions:http://us.norton.com/downloads-trial-norton-internet-security?inid=us_hho_topnav_download_detail_nis

My guess is that you have some form of malware. Adblock Plus is very good but will not help you here.

Try running the free versions of Malwarebytes and Superantispyware.
