How to bridge an AT&T modem?
I just got an airport extreme for better and faster wifi but I cant seem to hook it up. The modem i was using is an AT&T modem. It told us we should put them in bridge from the airport utility but when I did that its still like the AT&T modem. Its stil a pretty slow i guess because theyre both connected and interfering. I read i should put the At&T modem in bridge mode only so the Airport could be our only connection but I can't seem to find out how to do it. Anyone know how? Thanks

internet/WAN port goes to the modem.
computers go on the switch ports or wifi. apple routers are solid, but known for weak signal, so buy an external antenna (seems to require opening the case to install the cables from just looking at the picture). http://quickertek.com/ $130 also, have a look at http://jesusnjim.com/pc-repair/networkin...#blockages if your modem is really a [wifi] gateway, disable the wifi on it if possible else change to a different channel than your router else buy a plain old modem instead of a gateway. your router is probably better at doing wifi.
