It means that whoever said this, does not like it when people want to communicate mostly on social networks like Facebook, Twitter, other social networks etc. I agree with it, I don't like it when people only talk to me on Facebook. I like talking to people face to face more, I can understand them better and see if they actually smile when I talk to them, instead of just sending a ":)".
