How to generate new customers for new Car Export Business in UK?
Good afternoon all and thanks for reading,

I am based in the UK and am trying to start a vehicle export business supplying new and used vehicles around the world.

I have registered my company and am VAT registered.

I have close links in the Motor Trade, Shipping Agencies for sourcing new and used vehicles at great prices.

I have a few customers on the go, both private buyers and dealerships within the trade in a few different countries. If someone could point me in to the right direction in terms of what I can do to generate a lot more new business I would much appreciate it.

I am marketing my company via email to dealerships across the world by finding them online and sending them emails introducing my services, I have had a couple of requests for quotes but nothing which has turned in to an order.

Thank you in advance for your answers and advice.

As most people are aware, if you run a business you can claim expenses on some of your costs. This has been a great way to help out companies and give them a greater chance of success. Businesses pay tax on their profits, so when they claim expenses that amount is removed and therefore they pay tax on a much lower amount. If you’re diligent you can end up saving yourself a pretty large chunk of money.

The message we're trying to get across is that independent garages are small businesses, just like any other independent retailers and service providers. The steps and innovations we take have helped us become an integral part of the local community. Here are my top five tips to help your small business to do the same.

1.Network
2.Join a reputable network
3.Push yourself to learn
4.Utilise social media
5.Be Creative and Innovative
