Annoying google chrome bar?
I got this annoying bar like 10 minutes ago on google chrome:

uninstall it in add/remove programs or programs and features,
depending on your os. next time you install anything check on each page what you are installing don't just keep clicking next. Ads |

Sounds like you may have installed an application, that installed this annoying Add-on to Google Chrome.
Try going here in Google Chrome: (where you would type in a web address) chrome://extensions/ I'm not sure the name of that bar, but you should see something that you can remove here. Uncheck the box, and restart your browser, and see if that goes away. |

do you know the name if the toolbar? if yes, then you can go to control panel and remove it from there.
On Windows Xp: Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and select the toolbar and uninstall it. On Windows Vista: Start > Control Panel > Programs & Features > select the toolbar and uninstall it. Hope this is helpful. If the above steps don't help, then you can do a system restore. Go to Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore Choose a date before today and proceed with the restore. Reboot machine and reproduce the issue. All the Best!!! Regards Jen |
