Who's idea was it to make Y!A WHITE!?
I'm just now using Yahoo Answers again, and I can't stand what the design is currently. Seriously, what the fuck Yahoo!?

Yahoo's site, Yahoo's money, Yahoo's decision. If it was anything but white there would be just as many complaints about any other color.

You CAN CHANGE the background of the color of the display , but you have to go into the settings of YOUR device to change the background color. of how YA is displayed on YOUR device. Yahoo is NOT required to teach you how to change the settings on ANY of your devices that you use to access YA. That is your responsibility to teach yourself.

Apparently it was someone who doesn't have any issues with eyesight. It's a real problem for some users.
For anyone reading in thinking "that's me" then the easiest thing they can do is to change the "theme" of their browser: e.g. For Firefox https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/use...d&r=2&as=s For Chrome https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/148695?hl=en |

that background color is now configurable in your browser.
I made it gray/blue in IE 10, Win7. internet options, general, colors, uncheck use windows colors & use the color blocks to choose your colors. Yahoo should have the color eye-friendly by default. If the default,s glaring white, it drives away users. |
