If i were a guy and I am writing to a girl i meet online and what she tells me interests me than I am obviously ok with what she has described. I am more likely to be upset if you state or have a photo that makes you out to look like a Russian supermodel and you end up looking like Oprah winfry. As long as your are honest in your profile than you should have no issues with the guys you are meeting. If I am not interested in an overweight women I am not going to message you or agree to a date. I would just see if he wants to meet you and if he does just take a chance. All you can do is just be honest about yourself. It is very bad to lie to anyone. It is a waste of everyone's time to meet someone who does not have the decency to be honest in their profile. It could have been that the guy really liked the girl s personality but because she lied in her profile he might not want to have anything more to do with her. Believe it or not some guys do read your profile and read what you message him and use that to judge whether to contact you or not. I know because the women I date I make certain she is more than just a pretty face. I make certain that I agree with her values, I am ok with her religion, I like her lifestyle, and we have similar hobbies or hobbies I might be interested in pursuing myself. Her photo is something I gauge to determine if I should read her profile. I usually prefer Latin, middle eastern, Asian, or Eastern European women. I understand their cultures and know about their fashion. I am ok with their religions. Just be honest about who you are and a guy who agrees to meet with you should be ok with you as well.
