Should I uninstall Firefox for Google Chrome?
My computer keeps on freezing, I'm trying to help. Firefox keeps saying NOT RESPONDING. People say Google Chrome is better. If I use Google Chrome, should I uninstall Firefox?

Chrome is a lot simpler, easier to use and faster. So I recommend uninstalling Firefox and using Chrome

Firefox crashes in 99% of the cases, because of the extensions installed (if not updated regularly) or when many instances of Flash Player are used. They takes a lot of resources that Firefox can't manage at the time. There is a little program that avoid Mozilla from "leaking" problems (using too much memory). It's called: Firemin: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Internet/Ot...mber.shtml Make a short-cut of this program an put it into the startup programs, so every time you run Mozilla the program is running.
The problem with Chrome is that for every tab opened there is a instance of Chrome opened. It's a ferocious memory eater. |

Keep Firefox as well as Google Chrome.
Google Chrome has its uses, but like Firefox is not perfect. Compared to Firefox I find that Google Chrome is more prone to unwanted pop up windows. Use whichever browser is "behaving" on a given occasion - if Firefox is playing up then use Google Chrome. If Chrome plays up then use Firefox. |

I get the same problem myself. I have both on my computer, and prefer to use Firefox when it works. Whenever Firefox freezes just open task manager (ctrl+alt+del the select "open task manager") click firefox on it then end task.
