Am i allowed to add my primary school teacher on Facebook?
Okay so i added my TA on facebook from primary school (i am in year 9) and i live in the UK. I am not sure weather to add my primary school teacher on facebook as i don't know weather if i will get into trouble are you allowed. Thanks for answering. Emily.

Since your teacher is in an academic relationship and has responsibility and authority over your education, it is not wise to connect with them on FB. I would not be surprised if your school has a policy against teachers being "friends" with students, even as liberal as the UK is. I am FB friends with some of my college professors - but didn't "friend" with them until well after I graduated from graduate school (year 18). Year 9 is considerably too young in my opinion for social networking with your teacher. Sorry!
