Is it weird to talk to a girl on fb who i never talk to?

Im really shy and there is this girl that I like from my college. My problem is that I added her ages ago and I never talked to her. I didnt talk to her because her friend found out that I liked her and i felt like a idiot because she knew. Iv only talked to her once at my college ages ago and i would like to talk to her on fb. Would it be weird if I just start talking to her?

HECK NO! I talk to guys on fb all the time that i've never met or haven't ever seen them, or even heard of them. That's how I got my first bf, but I knew who he was, but never actually talked to him in person. Keep talking to her, It's not weird!

Not at all man..That's what I do the most...go on FB on my friends pages, find some cute girls and add them. Once they answered my request, I chat with them, being cool, make them laugh.. It'll be find man, just chat with her , give her some jokes, don't force it or it'll screw...( Be sure to not give her any sign of you liking her..) Gud luk..
