2 laptops connect to 1 router?
is it possible to receive internet on 2 laptops serviced by one router? Thank you

Yes, you can either install a switch so that you can plug in multiple Internet cables or you can install a Wireless gateway and receive Internet signals through WiFi.

Of course! On your laptop/s there should be a place where you look for available routers. Usually routers can handle up to 255 laptops.
Note- The internet speed would be super slow! But I don't think you need to worry about that. |

yes and more can be used. when you first try to connect to internet the computer will state they have found a certain numbered router and may ask for the connection number on the base of the router. as soon as you input the number it will proceed using that router connection.

Most routers have more than one ethernet ports so you can connect both of your laptops with ethernet cables. Or you can connect them through wifi. Routers are made to distribute one connection to various devices. So there shouldn't be any problem.

Not only is it possible for a router to provide internet access to more than one pc on its LAN side, this is a primary job of a router.
