I think it's pretty much universally agreed that IE is the worst "browser" made today. Whether or not Firefox or Chrome is better though is up for debate.

Personally I use Chrome. I find it fast, the extensions are useful, and I like the interface. I haven't used Firefox in a couple years, but I hear that they've become just as fast (and possibly faster) than chrome, and Firefox has a reputation for having the most extensions and good security.

Keep in mind, you don't have to choose only one browser. You are free to install and use all three if you want to. I'd say install Firefox AND Chrome both and use both of them until you're able to decide for yourself which one you like more.

not IE, thats for sure. I alternate between those two and opera. opera has a nice start page with a speed dial for frequently visited sites. I use GC for any quick searches i need, and I use Firefox mostly for downloads due to their add ons.

i like firefox because of the customization.

hate internet explorer. it's a piece of crap. it's extremely slow.

chrome is too simple but it's fast.

I use all three. People keep cutting down IE. If people know how to use a computer and have a decent computer IE is just as good as any other web browser. My IE 9 runs just as good as Firefox or Google Chrome.
If I had to choose just one web browser I would choose Google Chrome.
