theres a guy im mad about - it's official. he comes into my work for lunch as he works up the street and when he does i can barely stand - he actually makes me weak in knees.

it's now been 5 months of flirtation and i cant handle it anymore - i wanna ask him out but my friend said not to do it in person cos it would be putting him on the spot! he said to do it via fbook but there are two issues

a) i know his last name but he doesnt know that...
b) he's not even on my friends list and i think it's extra stalkery!

my friend who gave me advice is a man - a gay one lol.
we're never really alone cos he only comes into my restaurant to eat, usually with co-workers. maybe once i can catch him while he's paying for his food at the counter alone etc but i cant get more private than that unless i follow him to the loo lol

I think next time you interact with him, have a big smile and flirt and at the end say something like "so i really like talking to you and would really like to speak again over drinks."

I would ask him face to face--it'll show him you are confident and guys like confident girls. dating over facebook is overrated and tbh, it disappoints me when I see people 'going out' because of a stupid facebook message. I think if you do ask him out, don't do it in public because that would be putting him on the spot...do it somewhere where not many people are around.

Wait for a time when it is the least crowded and ask for his number and hand him your phone, and hopefully when he enters his name he'll put in his last name too so he won't think it's weird that you know his last name. Start texting a lot and maybe he'll ask you out but if not don't be afraid to ask him in person. If he's been flirting with you too then it won't be bad if he's put on the spot because he'll want to. He'll probably also like that you're confident enough to do it in person instead of behind a screen like most people are doing these days. Good luck
