Caught DDoSing School, what can they do?
Basically i ddosed my school afew weeks ago and i wasnt really bothered about getting caught because i didnt really think much about it, and then i started doing it off peoples ipads and taking the network down once again so eventually my school realised that there were no problems with their router its someone taking it down and they traced every account that logged into the site that i used, i told them that i was ddosing a guy who was calling me stuff on skype after we got into an argument because he wouldnt pay for a background i designed him and i copied and pasted the wrong ip from the skype resolver and ended up with schools ip,they deactivated everyones accounts who went onto the site and said they cant reactivate without the head teaches permission, he was supposed to get me out of lesson 2 weeks and they never come, he was supposed to come last week and he didnt so basically im just wondering what he can do? I know that there were better ways for me to ddos them without getting caught and obviously if i was that bothered i would have done it im just wondering what they could do, btw a few weeks ago another kid got into the school system and defaced everything he could had got addresses anything he wanted and he was also caught but not yet been punished, which is worse and who what can they do? cheers

well DDOSing is illegal by law which doesnt help your situation. "It is a federal crime punishable up to 15 years. No matter if you are a minor, the government will try you as an adult". Now I don't think your school will do this because that seems a little overkill but they might suspend you for 5+ days. A kid in my school hacked into the schools network and got suspended for 10 days.

when youre making a deal to make someone a design on skype
1. make the design and show it to him/her before giving
2. have them pay YOU FIRST before sending them their BG so they cant scam you

You may want to read the following and begin educating yourself. Although I must say, I find it rather sad that you are educated enough to perform a DOS/DDOS assault but not foward thinking enough to GOOGLE the charges that could be brought against you.

And remember, what ever is happening in the EU is only the tip of the spear since the US justice department has siezed property of KimDotCom and his Domain was not even on US servers.

Maybe next time you'll pay more attension and hide you Identity better, or don't you remember what happened to the Lulzsec guys?

U are f***ed. U face up to 15 years of jail time and/or the end of ur school life. Probably be banned from owning a computer or electronic device that can access the internet. Wont find a job if they do a crc and it shows u have a criminal history for ddosing. Dont think they'll take it lightly. U might be a minor but ddos and hacking are very serious crimes. Ur lucky if its just dealt with in school. If it is dont be surprised if ur expelled from the district. I knew a kid at 14 who did it and he had to move to another province just to be allowed to go back to school. He also had 300 hours of community service and was lucky they didnt press charges.

As you appear to be in the UK rather than the USA:

You have committed offences under the 'Computer Misuse Act 1990'.

In outline, for Unauthorised access to a computer system you get a £5000 fine.
For any harmful / malicious activity during that access, you get Five Years in prison.
