First of all! Don't get pregnant until your married: Best advice you could ever get Smile And second of all, your right. That girl is freaking out about having a baby and she probably had it with some random guy she just met and only did it for the baby. Your not pregnant now because your smart and you waited so you can actually support the baby with a husband, house, and job. DON'T get pregnant until your married, out of college, have a job, a house, and you are mature enough.

Hon, act your age for a while. You're 18 and life's been handed to you on a plate. Geez, when this girl is a grandmother at 35 and you're living it up in your McMansion, two cars, 2.4 kids and a great dog, you'll be happy you dragged your ass through college and waited for a decent guy who was financially and emotionally ready to have a family. Oh Lord, it's naive to think that having a baby is more about the love than the money, kids are EXPENSIVE, SERIOUSLY EXPENSIVE. I mean, they go through 4 wardrobes in their first year, then 2 wardrobes a year till they quit growing, and as they get bigger, they want the brand names - nike, adidas, etc, they have to have the same as everyone else - Playstations, xboxes, DS, Wii, whatever fad is out there that'll last 5 minutes and they're done. They're exhausting, a HUGE responsibility, life stops for you completely until they're old enough to go out on their own, if feeding them means you go hungry, you have to do it.

Take all this from a mother of 2 toddlers and expecting another. Take it from a graduate married to a man with a doctorate. Take it from someone who waited until her late 20's to start a family, and even at that, sometimes, I think I didn't wait long enough. There's more to life than dealing with a baby before you're grown up yourself and, to be honest, reading this rant is clear proof that you're not mature enough to be a single parent right now.

If this girl is bothering you right now, unfriend her on FB, block her from sending messages and get on with your life. Guaranteed, this time next year, when the novelty of a new baby has worn off and she's stuck at home alone on a Friday night because her babysitter baled or she didn't get paid because she had to take time off to care for her sick baby and can't afford to go out, while you're partying, she'll start sending messages bitching about how her baby is getting in the way of her social life.

Think about this - your parents shelled out a small fortune to put you through college, possibly remortgaged their house to give you the best start in life and you have the bare faced cheek to shove it back in their faces and tell them that you have the worst life ever? I put myself through college and it sucked and I struggled, and I wish I had parents who were in the position to help me.
