This happend about two years ago right? And he only flirted as far as you know. Flirting isn't cheating but it could certainly lead to it. It sounds like aside from that incident in 2012 your relationship is good and you're happy. Think about what was going on in those few months were you both having any fights? Or some extra stress? It's possible he was flirting because he was stressed out or sad, maybe even had some doubts about the relationship. That's normal. My advice is to let this go and forgive him. If you can't forgive him or move on from a possible mistake than you might want to break up before you've fully committed.
