You physically assaulted him and you are upset other people will know? You have NO right to ever attack someone. The fact he didn't call the police is lucky for you. The FB is the least of your problems. You need anger management. He isn't wrong, you are.

you abused him and he has a right to post what he wants on facebook. You said you are not embarrassed - it sounds like making excuses. And saying that you do not take kindly to threats just makes you sound kind of like a loose cannon and I just hope for your boyfriends sake, he either moves on or that you don't ever abuse him again.
