Is there way to call long distance for free?!?

I live in Canada, I know how to call long distance for free to Canada and USA. I want to call some other places in Africa. Is there way to call for free over WiFi or whatever?

Try using Skype via your computer for people you know. You need a computer camera & headphones with a mic.

Download the app Viber from Google play. it is free and can be used for both texting and phone calls. it uses an internet connection using either wifi or your mobile network. bear in mind though that the person you are calling must also have viber installed on his/her phone for it to work. they must also be connected to the internet at the time of the call.

Check into VOIP. Not much else except for Skype or similar.
