No follow Backlinks query?
If i offer multiple "no follow" back links from my website to a particular website will that affect my SEO or will Google penalize me?

No it won't affect seo nor Google will penalize me.

On applying rel="nofollow", only link juice will not pass to that links. That means no PR will pass to linked links.

So, rel="nofollow" is must to have tag.
