Why is my internet connection running so slow?
Recently I've been having a lot of problems concerning my internet connection, I'm with Virgin Media. The internet download speed is at maximum 1.19 mb/s and the upload speed is 0.6mb/s. Call Of Duty Black Ops is unplayable at a one red bar connection. I get booted from Yu-Gi-Oh 5D's games on Xbox Live, and the game lags a little. Even my voice on Skype is slightly distorted and sometimes lags. I seem to be able to browse and stream videos off of the internet. Any idea what could be wrong?
The download and upload speed should be 50mb/s Ads |

If you don't clean up cookies and other unwanted junk from your computer it will start to run VERY slow. When you search things online it stores information or cookies on your computer. Also check for viruses.

It could be one of two things, it could be a modem problem, in which case you will have to have them send you a new one, or it could just be a network problem. Best thing to do is phone them up, they should be able to test your internet connection for you, find the root of the problem and sort it out for you.
