how do I take photos with my webcam from my lenovo laptop??? please?

I was going to upload a photo via webcam by facebook message to my best friend but there wasnt an option???

I believe you're using a YouCam application. I also have a Lenovo laptop and I've been through that problem. There's a three option in YouCam - "Snapshot", "Capture" and "Desktop".

Snapshot - for taking photos.
Capture - for recording videos.
Desktop - for recording windows activities (this has the same function like fraps)
