I've never been naive enough to expect privacy on net. I don't trust electronic voting machines for the same reasons. Once you put something out there in cyberspace you have no real control over it.

I read one article that claimed the feds 'created' a computer history to help build their case against a suspect. I'm no criminal but the thought creeped me out.

I dropped g-mail because I was getting pop-ups that related to subjects in my "private" correspondence. I doubt other services protect us any better but at least it's easier to maintain your illusion of privacy lol.
